About the marketplace

What PackageMaps does

PackageMaps connects people making everyday journeys with people who need a parcel delivered. Larger deliveries and sourced providers have their own transport directory.

Courier route offer

A member publishes a journey they already plan to make and indicates the vehicle, available capacity, date, stops, and proposed terms.

Sender delivery request

A member publishes where an item needs to travel, the preferred date or deadline, package details, route stops, and budget.

One place for your delivery

PackageMaps helps members discover possible matches. Members agree details in Messages, send and accept quotes, and pay through Packagemaps. A 10% commission supports the service.

Does PackageMaps carry or insure packages?

No. PackageMaps provides the route marketplace. Members must confirm what is being carried, whether it is lawful and acceptable, and what protections apply before arranging a handoff.

Are member contact details public?

No. Route descriptions and map stops are public. Member contact details stay private; use Messages for delivery conversations. Transport directory contacts are available to signed-in members.

What does the Mollie payment cover?

Mollie processes delivery payments through Packagemaps and the optional subscription. Couriers receive 90% of the accepted quote three days after job completion, unless there is a dispute. Bank arrival depends on their payout schedule.

Are route matches guaranteed?

No. Dates, route proximity, capacity, verification badges, comments, and reviews are signals for members to assess. Availability and final terms must be confirmed directly.
